G E N E R A L R U L E S
RULE ONE : This is a Bleach based group (or, to be more specific, an Gotei 13 based group). Originals are welcome, but crossovers are NOT welcomed, we would like the canon positions looked over for potential interest. Who knows; perhaps you'll see an open character that intrigues you enough to give him or her a try.
RULE TWO : Literacy is expected from all applicants, be it members or non-members. We are all authors after all. And authors take pride in their literary work, no? Whether we like it or not, our literatures are always being judged based on grammar, detail, and how interesting it is. Thus, be interesting.
RULE THREE : Maturity is expected within the group, but in particular of the main Captains. The various Captains and there lieutenants can be known to be quite ruthless and heartless (Depending on the Character). Mercy will not be shown to the weak-minded and vulnerable, though allowances will be made for behavior of underlings. Any high school theatrics will be frowned upon and, if drama causing and attention seeking continues, the guilty party/parties will be reprimanded.
RULE FOUR : If you desire to spar with a member, you must be fair. It is preferred that originals have a list of their abilities/powers actually listed somewhere to prevent potential god-moding.
RULE FIVE : Respect given is respect earned. Treat your brothers and sisters of literature with respect and go to them if any issues arise. Gossip and talking behind the backs of your fellow members are strongly discouraged. The best way to stop drama before it starts is to talk it out.
RULE SIX : Activity within the group is very important. You can NOT apply for an Captain character to simply brag that you've successfully obtained the position in the group. Long periods of unannounced inactivity will warrant an activity check and the potential opening of your character. It is not that hard to update your fellow writers of your busy/hectic schedule or any unforeseen occurrences that has popped up in reality. [Let it also be noted that being "chummy" with the owner does NOT
constitute being active within the group. You must be ACTIVELY taking part in the group in some way, shape, or form. Preferably roleplaying, not just sitting in the chat.]
RULE SEVEN : It is very important that you understand the purpose of this group's creation. It was created to bring the Bleach verse together and to motivate writers to, well write. Although it is a haven for the Shinigami, the Shinigami are here for the purpose of keeping the Bleach verse active, fun, and full of surprises.

C O M B A T R U L E S
Rule 0:
Any and all below defined rules that mandate any restrictions on actions do not apply during an introductory post so long as they remain purely superficial or aesthetic in nature. This applies only so long as the listed actions do not potentially directly affect the fight in a way that cannot also be achieved through use of other actions that are not against the rules. In short, this protects people from being dicked over for RULE OF COOL intros that don't actually hurt anything.
Rule 1: No godmod. Repost is given to an invalid poster only once within battle. (God mod is the act of holding full manipulation of reality, being invulnerable to everything, unlimited energy, Controlling another's character, Absolute attacks, Absolute defenses, and unreasonable things that may not be listed but traditionally counted, as can be asked in pm or decided on.)
Rule 2:
Paragraph role-play; no post size limitation. (At least place something reasonable and average may it be a an introduction of otherwise. Doesn't really matter how long the post is but basically be reasonable and post something with some real substance in it. Not just a text wall, or a small sentence.)
Rule 3:
Time limitation: Three days.
Rule 4:
Fantasy; mutual understandings of logical implementations. (It's understandable that this is fantasy but with balance held in ruling of the role-playing game we use logic. Science can be used to make reasonable decisions, however if its an arcane asset fantasies logic may be used to display the outcome. Just don't take it too far.)
Rule 5:
Closed role-play; no in-character interference from outside parties. (As long as you don't just let your friends troll and join the battle out of spite you wont be eliminated automatically from the battle.)
Rule 6:
NPC count are allowed as logical consistencies, amount is Insert number here. (None Playable Characters is really a contradiction being that you're playing with them, and the concept of them can be spite full, or how most role-players use the rule. NPC are also characters so like all characters they deserve to be attempted in
order to potentially gain damage, however characters that are controlled by both parties are not counted as NPC)
Rule 7:
Each player has the right to request and review the participating character’s sheets and posts. (Kind of self explainable, you can ask or not, if you wish to see a sheet just ask, got a question on the post, just ask away. It's easier to get an explanation on what occurred than get a third party involved.)
Rule 8:
Each player has the right to request an official review from a third party, and each player has the right for a post explanation. (If you don't agree with each other you
can grab a friend and tell whomever off if they're wrong, Vice-versa with anyone in battle.)
Rule 9:
Universality (Mock-death); victory can be obtained by submission/surrender, knock-out, or death. (Self explainable, basically you may end the fight however you wish, with despair, remorse, no tolerance, etc. But it will affect the status of your character: Injured, Captured, or otherwise deceased.)
Rule 10:
Logical multiple actions are indeed valid. Order of multiple attacking remains stable. (This is a rule most seem to dislike, its only more logical that in reality anyone may attack as many times as they please, why the fuck should we limit how many times we can attack? That's just stupid, anyway, you may attack as many times as you want, as long as its reasonable, don't expect your opponent to let you slide with pulling outrageous techniques and you're perfectly well with stamina, energy, and strain.)
Rule 11:
Post-Implying is a must if one is to use illusions, clones, substitutions, or powerful abilities that will influence the remainder of the battle. This is a must, you cannot simply state "it's done." at the minute the battle turns sour for your character. Substitutions, and illusions, as such, are not a last ditch effort, and must be properly set up in posts prior to its use, through subtle hinting, straight forward statements, and proper use.
Rule 12:
Force Actions, it is logical, within reasonable measures, that if an attack is not dodged, or not blocked properly, the victim would face consequences for this miss of action. However, it is not plausible to force an action through without proper set up, implementation of logic, correct action sequence, and timing. Simply saying "No you can't dodge that" or "No that hit you" does not fly. Explain with detail why you feel your action has gone through, if need be, a judge can be involved to make a proper ruling. Also known simply as (Damage calculation.)
Rule 13:
Action sequence, something people often argue about. If there are multiple actions, a sequence of events must be established between you and your adversary. This implies that speed, time, and given scenarios be accounted for while calculating actions. (If you're character is running, and then stops, turns, and then casts an attack, you must take into account those moments of running, and turning, as well as attack cast time, in which the other person's actions are also accounted for, if there are any, or will be in their next post.) Action Sequence breaking is also plausible. (If you saw your opponent charging at you, you wouldn't stand there and continue charging your attack. That's just logic.) This is simply put, the chronology of events in roleplay and laying out what they mean in essence of plot-weaving.
Rule 14:
The Introductory post is not free from the rules. At any moment in the battle, including its start, all rules apply. Do not assume that simply because it's a beginning, and nothing more than a prologue, it's exempt from the rules. (In other words. No trans-dimensional jumping, no flying through a star, traveling at the speed of god mod, or other breaching of the rules in your intro is allowed. Find a legit way to get to where you must.)
Rule 15:
Any additional agreements must be stated and openly agreed upon; same applies for any measure of alteration of these rules. Any party that post without open agreement to these rules, or additional rules, will automatically be presumed in full accordance of these and the stated rules.
*Additional note: Respect must be maintained at all times regardless of whether or not you like the person you're fighting against. Infringement on this key aspect as a whole will result in game termination/ reset/ voiding of any In-character involvement between parties. Let's face it, nobody has the patience or time to deal with someone who is always trying to find technical shenanigans or blatantly being uncooperative to deal with problems and misconceptions. It takes away from the fun aspect of roleplaying.
